Zovue.com (“Zovue”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our members' personal information. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of Zovue’s privacy policies in relation to personal information that you provide and the interactions from third parties and their services.

Information Collected by Zovue

We collect the following types of information about you when you use the Zovue:

  • In order to become a member of Zovue we collect personally identifiable information, such as your name and email address. In order for you not to be bombarded by useless advertising, Zovue also collects additional information, such as your age and interests.

  • Zovue also collects information automatically. This information includes information from cookies (which are described below), your IP address and browser type. Your IP address is the unique address of your computer which is automatically provided to other computers when your web browser or email application requests a web page or email from those computers on the Internet. By using cookies, we can see what activities the Zovue users find enjoyable, thus we can upgrade Zovue to include features that may not be currently available.

  • Zovue will not sell your information to other companies.

Use and Disclosure of Information

Zovue always looks for ways to improve the Zovue experience. In order to do this, we need to collect some information:

  • Zovue will display your profile information based on the security preferences you have chosen. Your username will be displayed so other Zovue members can locate you, if you choose to allow this option. Zovue will use your email address to contact you from time to time and may also use it for security reasons to confirm your identity. We may use the information collected automatically, such as your IP address, information stored via cookies, and information about how you use the Zovue to develop statistics and aggregate information about the number of people who visited Zovue and to improve the Zovue experience. We may share this information with third parties who have the necessary tools to help us improve Zovue for the benefit of the members.

  •  Advertisements that appear on Zovue are delivered to you by Zovue’s advertising affiliates, partners and service providers. Zovue may transfer information about you and your use of Zovue, such as your IP address, information stored via cookies, and other demographic information about you, to our advertising affiliates, partners and other third parties. This information may be used to provide advertising, promotions and other products and services that may be of particular interest to you.


Zovue does not provide your name or personal contact information to an advertising partner when you interact with or view a targeted advertisement.

Zovue may provide the data generated by cookies and the aggregate information to the vendors and service agencies to ensure that Zovue users receive the best advertising available. Such third party entities will be obligated to use your personally identifiable information solely for the purpose of providing advertising on Zovue.

Zovue wants to ensure that its members are not involved in any criminal or unlawful activities. Therefore, information disclosed by Zovue users, including the contents of your online profile and communications, may be accessed or disclosed in response to legal process (for example, a court order, search warrant or subpoena); in other circumstances in which Zovue believes the Zovue service is being used in the commission of a crime; when we have a good faith that there is an emergency that poses a threat to the safety of you or another person; or when necessary to protect the rights or property of Zovue and its affiliates, or for us to render the service you have requested.

In case there is a transfer of ownership of Zovue.com, such as an acquisition by or merger with another company, all Zovue profiles and services will be transferred automatically.

 Adding Friends to the Zovue Network

If you would like to add a friend to your network, Zovue will send an email on your behalf to the person, or persons you have selected. Once confirmation has been received that the friend has accepted your invitation, you will be notified of their acceptance when you access your Zovue profile. 

Information Collected on Other Websites

Only when you are in the Zovue website does this Privacy Policy apply.
Zovue will show advertisements and links to other websites and services that are not owned or controlled by Zovue. These sites have their own privacy policies and Zovue is not responsible for their privacy practices. Please become familiar with each websites privacy policies since they will differ from Zovue’s.

Web Traffic Analysis

Zovue utilizes web traffic analysis in order to track the popularity of certain products being sold on the Shopping page as well as purchasing trends. We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving your shopping experience, and communicating with you. By collecting information such as popularity of certain pages we will be better able to make improvements to our website.

Zovue Uses Cookies

In order to provide data and statistics to improve the Zovue experience, we may link information stored in cookies such as your age, gender and country with your personally identifiable information.

Zovue also will use cookies so that advertisers can use their technology to  count the number of users that have viewed their ads or clicked on their links. Zovue and its advertisers may also use third party ad networks to help present and manage advertisements. These ad networks use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies on your computer to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements. This way, if the ad is annoying, the advertisers will quickly change their strategy, which means better advertising for Zovue members.

Zovue Security Settings

Your profile information will only be displayed to the extent that you choose to display the information. By choosing specific security settings, you can limit the amount of people that can see your photos, blogs, videos, blitz photos and friends. Please remember, if you choose to share your personal information (including any comments, videos, photos or any other information) to other people on Zovue, you do so at your own risk. Zovue recommends that you don't use your real name or display your personal information to everyone, only display this information to your friends.

Reviewing, changing and canceling your Membership

You can review, delete, correct and revise your personal profile by accessing the settings tab found in your MY PROFILE page. If you have any questions about your profile please contact us at: support@zovue.com; requests of this nature will be completed within 30 days.

If you would like to extend or cancel your membership, you can do that from the settings tab found in your MY PROFILE page. If you have any questions about your membership, please contact us at: billing@zovue.com; requests of this nature will be completed in 24 hours.

Children

Children under the age of 13 are not eligible to use Zovue and must not attempt to register or submit any personal information to us. Zovue does not knowingly collect personal information from any person who is under the age of 13, or allow them to register. If it comes to our attention that we have collected personal data from a person under the age of 13, we will delete this information as quickly as possible. If you have reason to believe that this has occurred, please contact us via the support@zovue.com, and we will investigate this allegation.

Security and confidentiality

Zovue has installed and programmed physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to store and maintain your information in a secure environment. For example, when highly confidential information, such as a credit card number, is transmitted through our website, it is encrypted by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software. Zovue uses Verisgn for its SSL security. Please keep your password secure since Zovue cannot stop people from entering your profile using stolen passwords. When choosing a password, you assume full responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Although Zovue tries to keep your information secure, the internet changes and Zovue is not responsible for unavoidable disclosures of your personal information. Zovue does not guarantee that your information will be secure under all circumstances.

Changes in Privacy Policy

Zovue reserves the right to update this policy as deemed necessary. If we make any material changes to this policy, it will be posted on Zovue’s homepage and in the settings tab area in My Profile. We encourage you to periodically review these areas for the latest information on our privacy practices.

YOUR CONTINUED USE OF ZOVUE FOLLOWING OUR POSTING OF A CHANGE NOTICE ON OUR WEBSITE OR SETTINGS PAGE OR RECEIVING OUR EMAIL NOTIFYING YOU OF THE CHANGE WILL CONSTITUTE YOUR BINDING ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGE.
